This policy explains what Foot Spa Cafe & Salon ("we", "us") does with your personal information. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
When you book. Your name, phone number, email address, gender if you choose to share it, the studio and time you selected, the rituals you booked, and any notes you send us.
When you contact us. Whatever you put in the form or the message.
When you subscribe. Your email address, and nothing else.
Automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and, if you accept analytics cookies, aggregate usage statistics. We do not run analytics until you accept.
We do not collect or store card or UPI details on this website. Payment is taken at the studio.
Why we need it
- To hold your appointment and staff it correctly.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and changes.
- To keep therapist continuity notes, so you do not have to explain your preferences twice.
- To answer your messages.
- To meet our accounting and tax obligations.
- With your separate consent, to send occasional letters about rest and offers.
We rely on performance of a contract for booking-related messages, and on consent for marketing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Who else sees it
- Resend, which delivers our transactional email.
- Google Analytics / Microsoft Clarity / Meta, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the database.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Booking records for eight years, because tax law requires it. Therapist notes until you ask us to delete them. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Server logs for ninety days.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Write to footspacafe@gmail.com or call +91 75790 13013 and we will respond within thirty days. Deleting a booking record is subject to the retention period above.
Cookies
Two categories. Essential cookies keep your booking cart and your session working — the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are optional and are only set after you accept them in the banner. You may change your mind at any time from the cookie link in the footer.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never recoverable. Administrative access is restricted, session-limited, and every action is written to an audit log.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects how we use your information, tell you by email.
